Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall
The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall is perfect for seeing legendary and popular artists while visiting Sarasota. From now until September 16, they are also hosting free outdoor concert series with great views of Sarasota Bay. They’re home to shows perfect for everyone, ranging from comedy shows, musicals straight from Broadway, and large-scale concerts like upcoming performances by Bonnie Raitt and Foreigner.
Tamiami Tap
Ranging from Sunday jazz shows to open mic nights, Tamiami Tap is another great spot to grab a terrific meal and listen to the local sounds of Sarasota artists. Live music is also performed every Friday and Saturday night right in Downtown Sarasota from 7-10 PM. They’re a laid-back atmosphere and host a variety of musical acts throughout the week.
